Field and Lab Measurement Protocols

The FSG is working with the research community to update and describe new measurement protocols as part of the NASA Ocean Optics Protocols for Satellite Ocean Color Sensor Validation, Revision 4, Volume IV:  Inherent Optical Properties: Instruments, Characterizations, Field Measurements and Data Analysis Protocols (Mueller, et al. 2003). Workshops are being held with experts in measurement protocols to prepare new versions of the NASA protocols.
