The next SIMBIOS Science Team Meeting will be held January 15-17, 2002 at the BWI Marriott located at 1743 West Nursery Road, Baltimore, MD 21240.
An agenda is available. Continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon break are provided each day.
There is a block of sleeping rooms reserved at the BWI Marriott at a rate of $110 plus tax per night. Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 Noon. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE HOTEL ON YOUR OWN. WESTOVER CONSULTANTS WILL PROVIDE THE HOTEL WITH A ROOMING LIST FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS THAT WILL BE STAYING AT THE HOTEL. Complete the lodging information on the registration form and a reservation will be made for you. You will be emailed or faxed a confirmation number approximately two to three weeks prior to the conference.
Cancellation policy at the BWI Marriott: If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so no less than 72 hours prior to the day of your arrival or a one-night stay will be charged to your credit card. Although Westover Consultants is making your reservation for you, if you need to cancel please do so directly with the hotel by calling 410-859-8300 or 800-228-9290.
Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport is only 1-1/2 miles away and is the airport recommended since the meeting is being held in Baltimore. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Simply proceed to baggage claim and use a courtesy phone to call the BWI Marriott.
From Baltimore: Route 295S (Baltimore Washington Parkway). Take W. Nursery Road Exit, turn left. Hotel is on the left, 1-1/2 miles.
From Washngton, DC: Route 295 North (Baltimore Washington Parkway). Take W. Nursery Road Exit, turn right at top of ramp. Hotel is on the left, 1-1/2 miles.
From I-95: Exit onto I-195 East to Route 295 North (Baltimore Washington Parkway). Take W. Nursery Road Exit, turn right at top of ramp. Hotel is on the left, 1-1/2 miles.
