Couple of new Web pages for your perusal. Note: they are first drafts -- likely imperfect and ripe for comment.
The first is a generic description / comparison of several algorithms (via a table and some bulleted comments):

Disclaimer: this is by no means intended to fully describe the nuances of each algorithm (the goal was not to oversimplify or undermine the construction of each algorithm). Rather, it is intended as a high-level outline of each algorithm's structure and flow. Basically, our notes after some review of documentation and software. It is also intended to be a living document -- mature enough to stimulate some discussion, but (admittedly) incomplete. Don't hesitate to make comments / corrections -- all mistakes are the result of poor typing and Spring fever. Other details and algorithms will be added with time.
The second is an updated list of our famous "questions to be addressed":
